Description

Nurses are an important role in the medical system. Nurses understand the principle of care and comply with the code of conduct in order to enable patients to have a higher quality of care. The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) establishes codes of conduct for nurses to ensure that nurse fulfil professional and safety practice requirements (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia [NMBA], 2019). There has seven code of conduct apply to all areas of nurses (NMBA, 2019). However, care is a nurse responsibility (Baillie, 2017). Nurses look after a patient because they do it from their heart not only work needs (Baillie, 2015). According to roach 6 C’s of caring states nurses provide specific care behavior to patients (Baillie, 2017). Care is a multidimensional activity that is indispensable for the science and art of nursing (Baillie, 2015). In this essay, I will choose compassion, confidence and commitment from the roach 6 C’s of caring to explain the relationship between the NMBA. Compassion is given through a relationship based on empathy, respect and dignity (Baillie, 2017). Nurses are required to demonstrate compassion when patients and families are in difficult situations (Baillie, 2015). Nurses show her compassion makes patients feel safe at psychological to have a positive attitude of treatment (Baillie, 2017). Similarly, the code of conduct for nurses of principle 2 .1 mentions nurses provide quality care by putting patients at the center (NMBA, 2019). The nurse 1

must record and report patient’s concerns (NMBA, 2019). Furthermore, the principle 3.2 refer to cultural practice and respectful relationships related to nurses interact with individuals in a culturally safe, respectful manner, foster open, honest and compassionate professional relationships (NMBA, 2019). Positive professional relationships are built on effective communication that is respectful, kind, compassionate and honest (NMBA, 2019). The confidence is the trust of one's ability to take care of others (Baillie, 2015). Patients believe the professional presence of nurses who can bring about change and provide comprehensive health care (Bradshaw, 2016). Nurses have confidence in the ability of nursing interventions to promote positive change to have positive outcomes (Baillie, 2015). Moreover, the confidence promotes trust in the relationship between patients and nurse that help develop nurse confidence (Bradshaw, 2016). If nurse has complete confidence in themselves, they can make the right decision for patients (Smith, Turkel, & Wolf, 2012).In a similar way, principle 2.1 expresses nurses have the confidence to overcome situation even is facing difficulties situation (NMBA, 2019). The nurse can provide the safety environment for the patient and their families from principle 2.1 (NMBA, 2019). Furthermore, nurses understand the patient's health problems through translation and interpretation services that are used to meet the specific language of the patient and his or her family from effective communication of 2

the principle 3.3 (NMBA, 2019). Registered nurses are committed to expanding and developing their knowledge and skills to improve the level of care provided to patients (Bradshaw, 2016). Nurses stick to their commitments during care by simply working with family and patients (Smith et al., 2012). Commitment is to maintain and improve standards of care services and it as part of the interaction to each patient (Bradshaw, 2016). Nurse commit patients to care them that is the cornerstone of nurse work (Smith et al., 2012). We need to build on the commitment to improve patient care and experience to take action so that all people can achieve this vision and strategy and respond to future health, care and support challenges (Baillie, 2015). Likewise, nursing practice of principle 2.1 indicates nurses have a responsibility to ensure that provided safe and quality care (NMBA, 2019). Nurses and medical teams share the responsibility to provide care to the same person at different times and to refer patients to another medical team at the right time (NMBA, 2019). Research in the health of principle 6 states nurses has a moral and moral commitment to provide comprehensive care (NMBA, 2019). The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) are rules that help the nurse to compliance and protect the public. Nurses need to improve their skills and knowledge and understand the code of conduct for nurses every year. The nurse is a

complex job which has challenging every time so that care is not always the same. If nurses realized the roach 6C’s of caring how to apply to patients that provide highquality care and good outcomes. As a nurse must be familiar with the code of conduct and roach caring to obtain more integrated and better care.
