Module 2 Short Responses – Question 1 What types of primary and secondary sources will you need to use to support the topic you are examining in your essay? You don't need the actual sources yet, but you should have an idea of what they might be (such as an eyewitness account of an event, for example).
For my analysis of the Equal Right Amendment, I will need quite a bit of primary and secondary sources. I would like to use newspaper articles and speeches, from both supporters and opposers, along with photographs and interviews from the time period for my primary sources. For my secondary sources I would have to stick to textbooks and journal articles, due to the chances of finding informative biographies being slim.
