State the main idea/argument of the source in 50-100 words The main idea of this journal artical is, how to estimate the affect of materialistic behaviour on adolescents. At first it takes self, then it conveys the materialistic behaviour, eventually it illustrates the link between self and materialism and their corrolation. It can be seen from the subtitles too. In this article the authors also show a lot of diagrams and images to explain the ratios of materialism among teenagers and how much of them are affected by the materialistic behavior.

Explain how this source will relate to the essay question in 50-100 words: This source can be very helpful for me to connect the relationship between narcissism and materialism with the teenagers’, young people’ self-developments’. This journal article will help me to lead my essay to be more scientific based with the diagrams and tables into it. It will also make me understand the self-development of teenagers as independent or interdependent and with the help of this I will be able to understand and explain how narcissism has an effect on adolescents’ self-development processes.

State the main idea/argument of the source in 50-100 words: In this book chapter authors discuss the affect of narcissism on materialistic behaviors of human beings. Most commonly writers convey the idea that over consuming and consumption of expensive not needed brand names are the illustrators of narcissistic behavior. Also in people' materialistic behavior and over consuming tendency authors find the tracks of inner fragility and low self esteem. With lots of subtitles and broad explanations the points such as; narcissism, materialism, human psychology in the modern world of capitalism and pursuit of happiness were shown in the book, in a detailed way.

Explain how this source will relate to the essay question in 50-100 words: In the keywords of the essay question there were; materialism, materialistic behavior, narcissism, youth and modern world. I think that starting with a brooding definition of the relationship in between narcissism and materialistic behavior of human beings can be very helpful for me to lead my essay to the link between youth and the modern world consumption with narcissism. The inner fragility and narcissistic behavior relation can also be a very good transition to the modern world’s youth psychology.
