2.04 Healthy Forests 1. First, take a walk through a forest, think about the last time you did so, or take a virtual nature walk or research a specific forest on the internet. 2. Based on this experience, write a response using two or more complete sentences that includes the following:  A list of at least six different components (living and non-living) you observed in the forest ecosystem.      

Crispy orange leaves Big, strong trees Tarpon and other fish swimming in the brackish water Lots of squirrels, birds, and crabs Lots of flowers and brush Lush, green grass

Your opinion regarding the health of the forest. Be specific, describing the observations used to form this opinion about the forest. I believe the forest is very healthy and prospering. It has lots of wildlife and the plants are very green.



A description of your favorite recreational activity to enjoy in a forest, or an activity you hope to try soon. Then, describe one thing you can do to protect the forest ecosystem's health while participating in that activity. I love going fishing in that place. I guess I can do catch and release when I catch a fish to protect the system....
