Sex Sex is the biological basis for a hierarchal, binary, system. Here, there is often an assumption that there are only two sexes - male and In fact, as Anne Faust-Sterling will describe, there are at least five na occurring sexes. Our assumptions that male and female are different are false. CIS gender - you are born and line up with the stereotypes and expectation making yourself privileged. Eg. You are born female, identify as female, as and present yourself as a female. There are ideals of averages The average man is bigger than a woman, the average man is strong a woman, etc. There is a certain amount of men who fit this. Gender This is the social cultural aspects of femininity and masculinity. It is also characterized as mutually exclusive, binary, and hierarchical.
