1

Ever since the Communist Party in China has come to power in 1949, they have wanted to become a global superpower by 2049. There is no secret strategy to accomplish this in a century. They have bullied many of their weaker neighbors over small pieces of land or oil exploration rights. China is on its way to replacing the United States, thus resulting in creating an entirely different world.

4

China’s overall goal is to have global economic, cultural and military dominance over the United States. They are asserting themselves as being the top superpower on this planet by developing missiles, fighter-bombers and submarines that are proficient enough to destroy United States bases. Some believe that China will still be technologically 20 years behind the US, due to our relationships with many Asian countries, but they are still developing strategies to gain dominance of the South China Sea.

5

The Chinese government has not allowed for political freedom from any of its citizens. Its Communist Party does not believe in cultural expression, religion or basic human rights. The western side of the globe believes that China was an expansionist empire that would have economic declines, but China has proved them all wrong. China has succeeded by building a top of the line economy that successfully manages a country that houses a fifth of the world’s population.

Lecture, TedTalk, TEDGlobal 2013, Edinburgh, September 14, 2017. https://www.ted.com/talks/eric_x_li_a_tale_of_two_political_systems When compared to other forms of government, electoral democracy has increased over the years. 5. List 4 or more agencies or organizations that advocates or acts on resolving the issue or answering the questions on your topic. For each organization, please include (a) name; (b) home page URL; and (c) explain whether and how you would participate in the actions suggested by the organization. Organization name and home page URL

How you would participate in actions suggested by the organizations?

1. United Nations Country Team (UNCT) http://www.un.org.cn/class/view? id=31

While the UNCT helps programs such as battling poverty, sustainable development and environmental protection, I would join in helping inform people of how this organization could help millions of people living in communistic China.

2. National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) People’s Republic of China

In order to keep the economy growing, I would look at the economic and social development, as well as continue with research on domestic and international economies to possibly implement policies.

General Administration of Press Since press is closely monitored in China, regulating and distributing and Publication (GAPP) news in different forms, such as prints and internet publications, throughout China. https://www.cecc.gov/agenciesresponsible-for-censorship-in-china 4. Central Military Commission (CMC)

With the CMC being China’s most powerful form of military, whose leader supports communism, it would be difficult to intervene without another dominant military.
