They called it 4Ocean because what they do is for the ocean. Its values, mission statement? - We’re here to clean the ocean and coastlines while working to stop the inflow of plastic by changing consumption habits A SWOT analysis of the brand - Strengths - People are starting to realize that something has to be done to help save the Earth before it becomes unsavable. They have had a lot of business because of this. They are the only brand right now that are known for their bracelet coming from post-consumer recycled material. - Weaknesses - Mainly online and in surf shops. Because their business thrives off of the purchases from consumers, they can’t sell in many stores to ensure they can sell as cheap as possible while also being able to fund their ocean cleanups. - Opportunities - They can make other items out of the plastics they collect. - Threats - there are a lot of brands that are starting to reuse trash to create their products. Many companies are coming out with products that can be considered sustainable which takes away the big point of 4Ocean. Who is the target audience of this brand? - Anyone looking to remove plastic from oceans and waterways What are some of their products - They’re known for their bracelets which are $20. They also carry items like reusable bottles which can range from $40 to $100 depending on the extra reusable items you want with it, they also sell reusable bags (15), metal straw (25), cleanup gear so people at home can pick up the trash they find on beaches, as well as hats and shirts ($30) Price for their products? ^ Where can you buy this brand? - You can buy a 4 Ocean bracelet on their website or surf shops and Hallmark carry them as well. Personally, I hate going to the beach and seeing trash everywhere. So knowing an organization is out there trying to fix that is very reassuring. 4Ocean gives people an incentive to change their behavior when it comes to using plastic....
