Lion's Gate, Mycenae, Greece, 1300-1250 BCE walls are tall, thick, any attacks could be seen and prepared for planned with defense in mind cyclopean masonry- walls made of large, irregular stone roughly placed citadel doubled in size 1250 BCE, when the lion gate was constructed, expanded to include Grave Circle A wagon wheels marks present, shows that trade is happening post and lintel construction corbeled arch- stones layered together closer until they meet most likely taller relieving triangle with 2 figures made up same material (except heads, which are missing) unsure if they are lions, or composite animals
