I. INTRODUCTION With the modernity of today's technology, it has become a trend for many business owners to shift from manual to automation to ensure that the business does well and thrives well. The study of Accounting Information System (AIS) is very essential to prepare students for specialized careers. Aside from the obvious importance of both accounting and information systems to businesses of all kinds and all sizes, research indicates that studying AIS can lead to a career path that should be both stable and lucrative. Studying AIS offers a large variety of work opportunities such as accountant, financial auditor, system auditor, consultants, upper management such as CFOs or CEOs, and Education. AIS also offers a lot of benefits, these systems are huge time savers since the accounting process and procedures are easily repeatable. The possibility of human errors is reduced, data access becomes much more accessible, and much more. Having accounting software like the accounting information system is every business owners' goal. Unlike many other accounting subjects, such as intermediate accounting, accounting information systems (AIS) lacks a well-defined body of knowledge. Much controversy exists among college faculty as to what should and should not be covered in the AIS course. To some extent, however, the controversy is being resolved through recent legislation. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) of 2002 established new corporate governance regulations and standards for public companies registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
