What is an algorithm? It is the set of well-defined sequence of commands designed by the developer to perform the specific task. Probably the best example to understand algorithm is a recipe. There are number of ways to bake a cake but by following the recipe of a baker; first preheat the oven, then measure out the flour, add sugar, add butter, chocolate chips, etc. until the desired cake is complete. So, these all steps are written by the baker and the sequence of these steps makes an algorithm.
Algorithm for getting to this class
STEP 1: Start STEP 2: Turn on your computer or laptop STEP 3: Let it boots up, open a web browser like chrome or opera. STEP 4: Open the college site i.e. moodle.queenscollege.ca STEP 5: Login using your credentials and open program solving/program logic course window from course over-view STEP 6: A new window will pop up and show us the virtual classroom, then click on asynchronous classroom STEP 7: Click on the presentation button to open this class STEP 8: Stop
Algorithm for brushing your teeth STEP 1: Start STEP 2: Take brush and toothpaste STEP 3: Wash the brush STEP 4: Unscrew the cap of toothpaste and apply toothpaste on brush. STEP 5: Open mouth and scrub the brush on your teeth
STEP 6: Repeat till spit builds up STEP 7: Spit and scrub it until teeth are clean STEP 8: Rinse mouth out with water or Listerine STEP 9: Put toothbrush and toothpaste away STEP 10: Stop
Algorithm for eating breakfast STEP 1: Start STEP 2: Wash your hands with a good handwash for at least 20 seconds. In covid-19 time washing hands properly is very crucial STEP 3: For breakfast the meal should be nutritious & wellbalanced STEP 4: Take some fruits, Greek yogurt and oatmeal in a plate
and bowl STEP 5: Eat the fruits and meals properly STEP 6: Rinse plate, bowl and spoon STEP 7: Stop
Algorithm for getting up in the morning STEP 1: Start STEP 2: The alarm starts ringing STEP 3: Turn it off and get out of bed STEP 4: Brush the teeth properly STEP 5: Take the shower STEP 6: Get dressed smartly STEP 7: Take your breakfast STEP 8: Drive to the work/college STEP 9: Stop
Algorithm for getting up on Saturdays STEP 1: Start STEP 2: The alarm starts ringing STEP 3: Snooze the alarm and sleep STEP 4: Again, the alarm starts ringing STEP 5: Snooze the alarm and again sleep STEP 6: Again, the alarm starts ringing STEP 7: Then, turn it off STEP 8: Get up and brush your teeth properly STEP 9: Take bath STEP 10: Have your breakfast STEP 11: Again Sleep STEP 12: Stop
Walkout activity STEP 1: Start
STEP 2: The term walkabout is originated in Australia STEP 3: The word walkabout defines the male who travel to Australian aboriginal by their foot during adolescence STEP 4: They live there about 6 months in traditional manner STEP 5: Their main motive to spend some time in bush life is to transit themselves into manhood STEP 6: They learn the traditional customs, practices and the lessons about natural foods and medicines STEP 7: Australian walkabouts are now windows into a beautiful culture that everyone can experience STEP 8: We can also say that, the man who go for walkabout is making a ritual journey STEP 9: Stop
