Subject: Apology Letter for not attending your Book Launching Event Respected Ma’am, I hope you are doing well. You arranged a book launching event last Sunday and I wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank you for the excellent job you did in writing the book and specially arranging an event for your friends to be a part of this achievement as well. I am impressed by your thorough knowledge of Financing and Investment Banking which helped you ace this achievement and devise a book by yourself. So many Congratulations! I appreciate the fact that you made yourself available every single time I requested you to attend an event whether it was a Birthday Party, Wedding Reception or Baby Shower, etcetera but despite that I’m so sorry that I could not attend the event due to an emergency. Actually I was at the hospital greeting our new arrival and I was so busy in it that I could not respond you timely and tell you I may would not be available to attend this event. Of course I was looking forward to seeing you at the event but I was so upset when I realized that I would not be able to do so. Please allow me to assure you that I was too busy to timely respond you, and that if you arrange another event in future (whenever it is possible), hope so I will be the first person to join you there and that if I could turn back the time, I would be the first person to join you there. I will be sending you the professional videotape I had taken at the wedding. I and my wife look forward to seeing you again at the baby shower soon. In this regard, please accept my sincerest regrets for being unable to attend your book launching event. Again I am so sorry to have missed this event. Please convey my disappointment to Afnan Sohail, and wish him and your dear ones much happiness in the years to come. Thanks!
