ARE LEADERS BORN OR MADE?

Leaders are Born not Made The state implies that an individual is born with a personality to lead. It is more of an art than a science. It means that the person is born with innate characteristics to lead. And an ability that enables them to won others and follow him or her. The people he or she leads to find him convenient and favorable to lead them, they find themselves having an easy time to follow that individual. Also, another sociological and behavioral study of animals was carried out at eh the university of Cambridge to determine whether leadership skills could be learned. The study involved the stickleback fish which is a group of animals where different fish exhibits different levels of boldness. The bolder fish are observed to initiate an activity such as hunting or coming out of the forage while those that are shyer only follow the bolder fish. Two pairs, a shy, and a bold fish were selected by the scientist and the used food rewards, and they tried to see whether they could change the behavior of both the leader and the follower. The fish were allowed to exchange roles and was reward every time it took the role of the other. The bolder fish was seen able to learn to follow while the shy fish did not come to learn to be a leader.
