Tiana DeCrescenzo College Writing 1 C. Hunter 251 19 November 2019 Polar Bears: Start of Paper Thesis/intro: Polar bears are one of the most majestic of the creatures of the cold. The polar bear is a species that is extremely affected by the temperatures getting higher, in response to global warming. Article Information: Chemicals that are placed in the atmosphere cause a cut in the O-zone. Cuts like this are what cause more of the harmful rays from the sun to be able to get in, affecting the way that the Earth’s temperatures rise and fall. As the temperature keeps rising and falling with no end in sight, the changing causes many things to no longer stay in the same working order. With the continuation of these trends, polar bears will have no way to not go extinct and will be forced to no longer be apart of the ecosystem. Because of this, the fish are moving away from the places they use to enhabit and the polar bears are running out of food. Also, the seas are becoming higher because of the ice caps melting. When they melt, the seas rise causing the land to be more absorbed by the sea around them. The gasses that are going into the Earth now also are causing the temperature to rise significantly, causing polar bears to overheat under their warm coats of fur and die.
