Safe Dosage The nurse should be aware that albuterol together with ondansetron can increase the risk of an irregular heart rhythm that may be serious and potentially life-threatening, although it is a rare side effect. Also Ondansetron and hydrocodone together can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucinations, seizures, extreme changes in blood pressure, increase heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, etc....
