STRATEGIES: ● “Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something.” Many of us are afraid of failing, but we mustn't let that fear stop us from moving forward. It is important to realize that we always have a choice: we can choose to be afraid, or we can choose not to be. Start by setting small goals that will help you build your confidence. Learn how to explore and develop probability plans; and practice thinking positively. By moving forward slowly but steadily, you'll begin to overcome your fear. ● “Leaders get out in front and stay there by raising the standards by which they judge themselves – and by which they are willing to be judged.” People-side of leadership in today's generation is complex, and it is continuously committed to develop capabilities of leaders to manage the workforce. The leaders who are better at influence must make a decision which is both quick and accurate and are able to build a culture where people feel the dedication and drive for uncommon performance in a way that builds sustainability and creates real value for all partners. ● “I’m not afraid to take a swing and miss.” As a leader, being scared to make an effort that failed. It was a nice try made but not successful. For that, never surrender until you succeed.

● “The riskiest strategy is to try to avoid risk altogether.” All businesses face risk, but getting rid of risk altogether isn’t a suitable result, but by measuring risk, you can decide how to deal with each kind of risk excellently. By choosing how to manage risk can help your business perform better. ● “A manager is not a person who can do the work better than his men; he is a person who can get his men to do the work better than he can.” Leadership necessarily requires using power to influence the thoughts and actions of other people. Power in the hands of an individual leads to human risks. Manager’s job is to create the circumstances in which their inherent motivation is discharged and channeled toward achievable goals. That approach requires an entirely different managerial mind-set. Achieving this shift in perspective is anything but easy. But it’s your best hope for getting the most out of your difficult employees. ● “My innovation involved taking an idea from the telecommunications and banking industries, and applying that idea to transportation business.” Innovation is distinguished by creativity by implementation of creative ideas in an economic setting. It may occur as a result of a focus effort by a range of different agents, by chance, or as a result of a major system failure. ● “You can’t make people do what’s right. You can lead them, and you can empower them to make the right decision, but if you don’t produce a culture that allows them to do that, then all the rest is just bumping your gums, as one of my old business partners used to say.” Don’t assume that you know all the strengths of your people. Meet with each of them and ask what they view their strengths as. You may discover what you hadn’t acknowledged before. A better understanding of your team helps you lead them more effectively. You can give them more opportunities to shine by empowering them to assigned tasks and projects suited to their strengths. ● “If you’re going to run a high service organization, you have to get the commitment of the people working for that organization right at the start. If you don’t you’ll never be able to deliver at the levels of expectations of the customer.” If you want better performance from your team members, you need to walk the talk. Model positive behavior yourself. Make mentorship a priority. Create a culture where your team members feel respected and valued. Ask your employees about their career goals, then provide strengths-based tasks and training and development opportunities to help them get there. For that, you and your team will achieve a better expectation of your company's goal.

Facebook is a site where the users can create their own profiles, upload photos and communicate with other users. By 2004 he dropped out of college and moved the company to Palo Alto, California. By the end of 2004, Facebook reached 1 million users. In 2005, Zuckerberg's enterprise received a huge boost from the venture capital firm Accel Partners. Zuckerberg's company then granted access to other colleges, high school and international schools, pushing the site's membership to more than 5.5 million users by December 2005. The site began attracting the interest of other companies that wanted to advertise with the popular social hub. Zuckerberg refused offers from companies such as Yahoo! and MTV Networks. Instead, he focused on broadening the site, opening up his project to outside developers and adding more features.

OTHER FACTS TO THE SUCCESS HE IS ENJOYING NOW: -Throughout Facebook's rise to greatness, Zuckerberg also spent his free time studying Chinese. By the fall of 2014, his Mandarin was so good that he managed to hold a 30-minute Q&A in the language. -Zuckerberg took Facebook public on May 18, 2012. The IPO raised $16 billion, making it the biggest tech IPO in history at the time. He also bought a $10 million mansion in San Francisco, and then proceeded to spend more than $1 million on remodeling and additions.

CHALLENGES: -The site went up over a weekend, but by Monday morning, the college shut it down. Its popularity had overwhelmed one of Harvard's network switches and prevented students from accessing the Internet. In addition, many students complained that their photos were being used without permission. Zuckerberg apologized publicly, and the student paper ran articles stating that his site was "completely improper”. -Zuckerberg accused by three Harvard seniors, Cameron Winklevoss, Tyler Winklevoss, and Divya Narendra that he intentionally misleading them into believing that he would help them build a social network called HarvardConnection.com The three complained to The Harvard Crimson and filed a lawsuit against Zuckerberg that resulted in a settlement.

STRATEGIES: ● “I think as a company, if you can get these two things right – having a clear direction on what you are trying to do and bringing in great people who can execute on the stuff – then you can do pretty well.” As we all know, in order for the company to succeed, it is necessary to build the right employee so they can build your company. A right leader was the one who held his ear and hand to reach his people and know what they really wanted and what's the right thing to do was in line with the company goals and mission. ●

“We look for people who are passionate about something. In a way, it almost doesn’t matter what you’re passionate about. What we really look for when we’re interviewing people is what they’ve shown an initiative to do on their own.” It is the best character of the company to hire people that were passionate and dedicated to work instead of what they graduated for. Employees that drive themself to do their own work have a big impact on the company. ●

“I believe that over time, people get remembered for what they build, and if you build something great, people don’t care about what someone says

about you in a movie... they care about what you build.” The implication of this quote for me is like as we grow older, people tend to recognize us based on our works and not by our attitude or character. A lot of hostage-takers really have a good heart, but we will not remember them as a kind-hearted person, a family-oriented father, or a good son. We will remember their names associated with the crime they did. This is why we should think about the steps we take in life. The small act can be remembered by anyone. Life is about building your own legacy. Are you going to be remembered as a person with a bunch of exemplary achievement, or a person with bad reputation? Same thing in building our own products. We should create a product that will eventually be helpful to citizens, a product that will make its own mark. If we are eyeing a successful business, we should focus on composing our art instead of story-telling or daydreaming. ●

“[Facebook] is shaping a broader web. If you look back at the past five or seven years, the story about social networking has really been about getting people connected... but if you look forward for the next five years, I think that the story people are going to remember five years from now isn’t how this one site was built; it is how every single service that you use is now going to be better with your friends.” Back in the day, Facebook really helped us connect to people. It can be to our loved ones, family, friends or classmates. The platform even let us meet other people we don’t even know in our real life. It served as a bridge as we communicated to an individual. But now, Facebook is more of an entertainment application. We can watch funny videos, share educational information, and the most popular now… the sharing of memes. Of course, everything is better if we have people to share our laughter. And that is where our friends come. Everything that we are going to see in our timelines is going to be interactive if we will share it to our friends. Every meme or hilarious video clip is more enjoyable with our buddies. And still Facebook always releases new features on their craft. Let’s see maybe the next update will make our friendship even stronger. It is also a good example of a company. They make themselves timely, Facebook didn’t even get lost on their competition with other social media. Because they adapt to which is popular and by doing that, they already have hundreds of partners that you can see on their ads. Still winning the number of downloads by having 5 billion. And who knew that Facebook will not only let us communicate with our friends, but it also made our bond to our friends tight. ●

“Helping a billion people connect is amazing, humbling, and by far the thing I am most proud of in my life.” This quote may come from a developer or a creator of an application that makes people communicate to each other. In which he/she really helped billions of people to share their daily stories in work/school, achievements they just received, or an update of what their family has been doing. This is really the fulfillment of having a missional company, a company that has an urge to service people and not just for their own greedy deeds. Building a company that is not just going to benefit the owner but also the users. Kudos to the owners of the companies who are helping every citizen of this world by making

their own masterpiece or craft accessible to everyone.
