Proprioception  The bodies ability to sense where all your body parts are relative to each other and objects in your environment  Receptors in our muscles help inform us where we are  Our vision is champion among senses and can overcome othersincluding proprioception Blind Spot  Every person has spot in their visual field where they are completely blind  There are no photoreceptors at the point where the optic nerves meet the retina  We don’t notice this blind spot?- our brains fill in the blanks  Optic disc is your blind spot Opponent Process Theory  The photoreceptors in our eyes adapt to color rapidly
