1. Deoxygenated blood arrives at the Heart thru 3 vessels: a. Superior Vena Cava b. Inferior Vena Cava c. Coronary Sinus 2. Empty into Right Atrium 3. Goes thru tricuspid or right AV 4. Emptying into the Right Ventricle 5. Right ventricle cx, forcing blood thru Pulmonary Semilunar Valve 6. Leading into the Pulmonary Trunk 7. Where it splits into the Right and Left Pulmonary Arteries a. Only artery after fetal life that carries deoxygenated blood 8. To Lungs for gas exchange 9. Oxygenated blood returns to Heart thru 4 Pulmonary Veins 10. Empty into the Left Atrium 11. Goes thru Bicuspid or Left AV (Micral) 12. Emptying into the Left Ventricle 13. Left ventricle cx, forcing blood thru Aortic Semilunar Valve 14. Into the Aorta 15. From there it goes to arteries all over body 16. Into capillaries for gas exchange with tissues 17. Deoxygenated blood goes back into the veins 18. Returning to: a. Superior Vena Cava b. Inferior Vena Cava c. Coronary Sinus

Key: ● ● ● ● ● ●

Deoxygenated blood = Right side of Heart Oxygenated blood = Left side of Heart Veins = towards heart, deoxygenated Arteries = away from heart, oxygenated Pulmonary Circulation = Heart -- Lungs --- Heart ○ Right Vent. --- Lungs --- Left Atrium Systemic Circulation = Heart --- Body --- Heart ○ Left Vent. --- Body --- Right Atrium...
