The name of our business is Pleggs Ltd, and we manufacture and sell critiqued artisan loaves. We have been operating for a consistent 3 years and over the years have perfected the softest and most delightful loaf of bread you will ever place your hands upon. In our loaves we use unusual grains such as rye and buckwheat, so the texture and taste of our bread is high quality. Pleggs Ltds range of products include seeded, and none seeded bagels, fresh all buttered croissants, foot long baguettes and our specialty of white and whole meal artisan loaves. All of them range from just as little as £1 to a large amount of £5 our prices vary between such as our customers are mostly young university students and pensioners trying to live on a budget and save a bit of money. Each product can be placed as follows in the Boston Matrix; the cash cows would be our fresh artisan loaves which bring in great cashflow and have high market share. Our stars would be the freshly baked all buttered croissants which generate about the same amount of profit every month and it is high in market growth and share. Then there is our footlong baguettes which are known as the problem child which consumes a lot of cash and a less amount is purchased in return, so the company loses money. Lastly the dog of our company would be the seeded and non-seeded bagels as they are low in market share and growth and would tend to be discontinued in the future. The reason that Pleggs Ltd has selected these products is because we thought as a company that our customers would like such products based on market research. Therefore every product which gets released has gone through many development stages to get the perfect finish and to serve our customers on the best and every new product is only run for a month and depending on that month we then go through and make a decision to keep on such a product and whether or not it is generating enough profit for our business and whether our customers are liking the products.
