Family Nursing Problems (Nursing Diagnosis) Inability to recognize the presence of the condition or problem due to denial about its existence or severity as a result of fear of consequences of diagnosis of problem specifically physical consequences and emotional/psychologica l concerns.
Goal of Care
After nursing interventions, the family members will be aware on how to prevent diabetes mellitus and explain the risk of infection and complications if blood sugar is uncontrolled as well as recognize the presence of the condition or problem.

-Be aware and knowledgeable about the importance of proper sanitation and healthy habits especially at home.
-Discuss the important of proper sanitation and healthy habits.
-Explain the idea of the complications of high blood sugar if uncontrolled
-Broaden the knowledge of the family on the complications of diabetes

Planned Evaluation After 5 hours of nursing interventions, the family was able to: -Determine the ways on how to prevent risk of infection, treatment for Diabetes Milletus prescribed by the doctor. -Ways on how to maintain healthy habits and proper sanitation and control of sugar to avoid any complications.
