Introduction. Online collaboration tools are web-based apps that provide basic features such as group messaging, file sharing, and collaborative search engines. There are many online collaboration platforms available these days, but I'll focus on Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
JIRA. JIRA is a tool developed by Australian company Atlassiun. This software is used for bugtracking, issue tracking , and project management. Mostly used by software team which build and ship products, the system well organized the app development process from preparation to accomplishment. All project in JIRA has , • Task. • Process (creation to completion). • Done. Ex:- JIRA project work flow.
Every JIRA project has at east one workflow.
Confluence. Confluence is a knowledge and collaboration environment for teams. Dynamic pages provide your team a space to work on any project or concept by allowing them to develop, capture, and collaborate on it. Spaces assist your team in structuring, organizing, and sharing work so that everyone in the team has access to institutional knowledge and the information they need to execute their best job. Confluence is for teams of all sizes and types, from those working on mission-critical, highstakes projects that require rigor to those trying to establish team culture and interact with one another more openly and authentically. 05/17/21

Summery Even though they are all managed by the same company, Jira, Trello, and Confluence are in competition with one another. Jira is primarily used to log bugs, monitor related issues, and manage projects. Trello was created primarily as a Kanban board application for visualizing data. Confluence is a knowledge repository, or wiki, that organizes and saves all of the information assets related to the Jira or us projects.
