Concept The quest for exploring the relationship between knowlegde and graphic representation of concept has become an interesting field of investigation in the study of skill acquistion (Dormer, 2005). Concept mapping is one of collaborative leaning model. Concept mapping its self come "concept" and "mapping". Concept is a notion or statement of an idea to express how something might be done or accomplished. the basic condition which is needed to mastery cognitive skill before according to the same characteristic from a nmber of stimulus and objects (Djamarah&Zain,2002:17) Concept mapping is a stuctured prosess, focused on a topic or construct of interest, involving input from one or more participants, that produces an interpretable pictorial view (concept map) or their ideas and concepts and how these are interrelated. Concept mapping helps people to think more effectivelly as group without losing their individuallity. B. Stages of concept Mapping The stages of concepts mapping based on Agus Suprijono, such as: 1. In this phase, the students are introduced to the background information related to the subject to be learn. Teacher has to explain the material clearly and provide simple and intuitive tools, so the student is encouraged to persue the experience further. 2. Teacher gives students chances to try in saveral times to create a map that illustrates the relationship between concepts. 3. Make sure students make the connecting lines between the concepts. Every line connecting students are expected to write a word or phrase that describes the relationship between concepts. 4. The sentences have to show the assumptions in explaining the relationship between concepts....
