Description

Tutee Background Information and Action Plan (20 pts)- Submit this form along with a copy of the BPST assessment in Week 5. For this assignment you are using information that you obtained from the teacher interview, the interest inventories, and the BPST assessment to set tutoring goals for your tutee. When analyzing the BPST, you should focus on the first area of the assessment that challenged your tutee. In other words, focus on gaps in letter names and sounds before moving onto reading words. Also, focus on short vowel words before moving onto long vowel words. Since you are meeting with your tutee for such a short time, be sure the goals you set are specific. For example, instead of saying “Student will be able to read short vowel sounds in CVC words” you might say “ Student will be able to read CVC words containing the short a vowel sound” or “student will be able to read one syllable words with the /ch/ digraph.”
