Dear Employer,

I have attended one year at Columbia and during that time I spent a lot of hours in the Student Center. On days where I needed to finish up projects or just hangout with friends to create something I spent quite a bit of time in the Makerspace area. It is a space where I felt so welcomed and creative. I was always greeted with friendly staff and was always able to find everything I needed.

With that being said, I would love to join the Makerspace team because it seems like a place where I can fit in and truly enjoy the space that I am working in. I love to help others, I’m friendly, outgoing and very sociable. I believe I would be a great fit to be apart of the Makerspace space and activities that are held along with it. As you may notice on my resume I have lots of experience with leadership and helping others, which I find so rewarding.

I am a hardworking individual and I never settle for less, some may even say a slight perfectionist. I believe that everything I do must be done correctly and given my all. I would love to spend my sophomore year seeing all that life has to offer, I love trying out new things and finding new things that I like. In other words, I have found a great interest in Makerspace and I would love to join!
