Explain the trade off between memory usage when storing music and music quality. (6 Points) 3. Many different technologies are associated with IEEE standards. We have discussed this concept a few times. Given a choice between two similar technologies, one that has an IEEE standard associated with it and one that doesn’t (assuming equivalent cost and performance), which one would you rather buy? Explain why you would make that decision. (10 Points) 4. Technology is tied closely to the digital divide and consumer desires. Identify a piece of technology that you use everyday and then discuss the following points relating to that technology. This is to be types in essay form, the questions do not need to be seperate paragraphs or sections, but all parts must be answered. (60 Points, 10 for each question and 10 for the overall essay). a. Why is that technology an important part of your everyday life?

b. What is the origin story for that technology? Explain how it started and evolved to be the technology you use everyday. Use at least one legitimate reference to support your explanation of the history. c. Through the history of the technology, explain what connections to the digital divide that it has. Explain what aspects of consumer behavior influenced the development of the technology you chose. d. Reflecting back on your life, explain how you think your life would it be different if that technology did not exist? e. Make a prediction on what you think will happen next in the evolution of that technology. Explain your reasoning why you think that will happen....
