UNIV 1001 UNIV 1001 UNIV 1001 UNIV 1001...
I chose the Cornell Summary Note-Taking method because it's an easy and smooth way to take, write, and understand notes, and it's the right vertical method. This helps us connect and understand the information in the margins and the bottom is a blank summary for note taking, arranging and whitewashing after revision. I recently learned through College Success (2015) that Professor Walter Buck, who pioneered the Cornell method at Cornell University in the mid20th century. This method is used in two steps. The first step is during the lecture or reading any educational content, I record the important notes in the right column and the summary in the box below. The second step is after the end of the lecture or reading the content where I select the headlines, depending on each note in the right column, in the left column. This process helps me understand what is needed, retain the information in my mind and enhance it in the long term as possible. I think the Cornell method is easier than the others for me. For example, when I look at the Map Concept/Mind Map method, I find it a bit complicated and distracting because it doesn't give me an organized way to proceed. References
