The

accused/applicant

alongwith

non/applicants

were

apprehended by ASI Gurbachan Singh, when they were travelling in truck bearing number PB-65-D-7371 and ZEN car bearing registration no. DL-03CZ-5241. The accused reposed confidence in DSP Rajesh Kumar Chibbar and the search of the truck and car led to the recover of 500 kilograms of poppy husk. The accused/applicant was apprehended at the spot. On these allegations the FIR was got registered. 4.

The allegations against the accused/applicant are serious because

he was found in possession of 500 kilograms of poppy husk, which falls within commercial quantitiy. Therefore, seeing the serious allegations, the argument ofthe learned counsel for the applicant that the trial of the case will take a long time is the devoid of merits. Therefore, finding no merits in the bail application the same is hereby dismissed. File be consigned to record...
