Does international trade reduce conflict or political dispute? It is very debateable to reach an argument if international trade reduces conflict or political disputes. One may argue that international trade reduce conflict or political dispute within the international system because it facilitates trust and team work between a variety of countries that is creating good relations and it creates greater opportunities for firms in less industrialized countries to tap into more and larger markets around the world thus, lead to economic growth and development amongst nations. However it undermines cultural diversity causes dislocation , pain and undermines national security. It should be mentioned from the onset that international trade is the exchange of capital ,goods and services across international borders or territories which could involve the activities of government and individuals. This type of trade allows for a greater competition and more competitive pricing in the market. The competition results in more affordable products for consumer. In most countries such trade has been present throughout much of the rise in recent centuries. It is important to note that international trade reduce conflicts within the international system because it facilitates trust and team work between a number of countries. Over time this will reduce conflicts because more countries will also respect each other's boundaries more too. Example is between China and Africa. International trade has created good relations , that has led to Chinese investing in African industries like agriculture, farming machinery, fisheries, secondary production and agricultural processing facilities. China has also used military co operations with Africa as a means to gain access to its resources and economy. China has provided uniforms to Mozambique's army as well as equipment training and arms to various African countries .It has provided fighter jets and helicopters to Zimbabwe , Angola, Namibia, Sierra Leone and Mali. Moreover the good relations created by international trade has also led China's to contribute to humanitarian aid and peacekeepers to African Union (AU) and the United Nations missions in Africa as an attempt to promote stability on the continent. It is in this manner therefore one may argue that international trade reduce conflict or political disputes....
