IN CALSS NOTE: ESSAY WRITING: 1. Thesis statement: whenever fixed in the class then no changed 2. You dont have to take a black or white view--you can talke a middle path, as long as you can justify it. 3. Develop your thesis:  Each paragraphy should have a topic sentence:should be your own voice instead of other people’s qutation.(own voice first--qutaiton)  Linking sentence--Providing link between thesis statement and example:  Analysis of the evidence: concluding statement---show how that 4. Develop analytical approach: using example/ case to support the thesis-- not just simple description but analyse the case---that is dont just summarise waht material you have read, you have to show how that evidenve supports your thesie. That is the evidenve just a tool. Example：  Thesis statement: Lawyer pursue client’s interests  Linking statement: Lawyers have an ethical duty of competence a care to their client  Analytical sentence:By executing their duty, they seek “truth” and “justice” for their clients. “truth” and “justice” are objective “client” are subjective 5. Critique the question- interrogate words of the question 6. Evidence: confidence towards the view,using as your tool The evidence should support your points, not make the points for you. You are the lead singer! The evidence is just your back up voices. 7. Writing: try to use simple writing  Your writing shoudl illuminate your ideas, not obscure them.  Write clearly simple with short sencence. 
