In this lab, I looked at ticket sales from a company. In looking at the data, I see that a total number of 81 tickets were sold and an average number of 2 tickets were sold. I can see that the most number of tickets were sold by Vivien and to the destination of Thailand or Indonesia. I can see that the most number of tickets to one single destination were sold by Vivien to Thailand or Indonesia. I can also see that the least number of tickets were sold by Heather. Based on my observations, I would advise Heather to talk to Vivien about her strategies to sell the tickets. This is because she sold the least number of tickets overall. In completing this lab, I learned that a table enables me to quickly group data according to similar characteristics. I created a table by highlighting all of the data and clicking insert then table. A pivot table and pivot chart enable me to see data quickly due to is clean organized look. I created a pivot table by clicking on the table after sorting it and clicked under design, and “summarize with pivot table. I create a pivot chart by clicking on the table then insert then pivotchart. In this lab, I looked at inventory data. In looking at the data, I see the number of parts for a computer. Based on my observations, I would advise giving a group number to the last column to label. This is because there is no label for the last column.
