Description

Exercise MRP I and its solution Product X, which takes 102 minutes to be produced, and which has the manufacturing structure in the form of the product structure that is presented in the below figure, where the number of units of each component or subset is indicated to obtain a unit of the upper set. Take into account that for the aforementioned components we apply the master production program and the data of the inventory registry file that are provided in charts 1 and 2, respectively. It is needed to elaborate the MRP by using the below template and taking into consideration the following restrictions: - the lot to lot sizing technique for elements X, A and B - the technique of the constant period (2 periods) for element C. - the technique of the minimum total cost for element D - the Silver-Meal technique for element E. The cost of possession is € 5 per unit and period and the emission cost is € 900 per order.
