Arielle Snow Prof. Pugh Anthropology 103 7 May 2017 Hadrian’s Wall and The Time Team, the archaeologists in this video, are excavating near Hadrian’s wall.
Hadrians Wall was the barrior between roman Britain and barbarian north trying to learn about the soldiers who died there- giving insight into lives and beliefs of the people who once lived around there built in 122-32 ad seventeen forts along the wall the rectangular wall is still here begin investigation looking at final resting place of bridoswald roman soldiers
every roman fort had same buildings just not necessarily same order
because of erosion, they are excavating this part of the field now
looking in the cemetery field to see if its damaged
they used to cremate the body dont expect to find coffins, instead for ashes and for dark spots and different types of urns
first thing they find is some glass from a roman urn then find some bones...
