Thompson Rivers University Chemistry Acknowledgement of Laboratory Safety Information This is to certify that I accept the responsibility of performing laboratory experiments and procedures with regard to protecting my own safety and the safety of others in the laboratory. I have received, read, understand and will follow the safety guidelines in the Chemistry Safety Policies, found on my Chemistry 4400 Moodle site. I have completed the required TRU WHMIS 2015 training. I will wear proper personal protective equipment including a non-medical face mask, and appropriate clothing and footwear at all times in the laboratory. I will follow all the required safety procedures and practice physical distancing as much as possible. I accept responsibility for seeking information and assistance from the laboratory instructor when I am uncertain of the hazards inherent in a procedure or how to avoid them. I have been informed that my instructor(s) expect that I will seek their assistance and guidance with respect to safety practices.
