Asian-Americans seem to be “normal” to suffer racism and hazing when they came to the United States. The status of Asian-Americans is below from most of the people in the United States. As Asian-Americans, finding the identity that belongs to is significant for college students that are under high pressure. Pi Delta Psi's ruthless demand for incoming members created a barrier that separated Deng from life. Pi Delta Psi's inadequacy of sense of responsibility and accountability proved the notion that "good intentions don't warrant harmful actions." The fraternity not only slaughtered Deng but it also ended Deng’s parents hope to amend the American dream.
