Setup       

Ensure that it is safe to dilate px Instil drops 30 minutes prior to examination Mild illumination Low magnification Straight ahead position Parallelepiped beam Hold lens in front of px eye

Px to fixate straight ahead Centre beam in pupil and focus on cornea Focus the fundus by moving joystick back and forth Change magnification to higher setting Get a view of the ONH and macula, as well as the fundus
