THEA 102-01 GLORIA Quiz 1. All of the main characters work as writers/editors for a magazine company 2. Gloria’s housewarming. 3. Dean is embarrassed about his book proposal, “Zine Dreams” because he’s working in magazines and he doesn’t want his co-workers to know that he’s ready for a change/ has an escape plan on not wanting to work with magazines forever, he’s also scared of being made fun of. 4. Miles wants to meet Nan because it’s his last day as an intern so he wanted to properly say goodbye to Nan. 5. Kara is a profile writer in the magazine company. 6. Sasha is an editor at a nearby publishing house and a former assistant of Nan. 7. Dean gets thrown out of Starbucks because he slapped Kendra. 8. Kendra wasn’t around when the Gloria incident took place because she was at starbucks and Nan was in her office under her desk when the incident took place so she didn’t actually witness what went down plus she didn’t know/ remember Gloria. 9. Miles is a temp in the first scene and Lorin is a temp in the last scene. 10. In the beginning of the play Lorin was sad and emotional about his job and how he does not get time to do anything because he’s always working. At the end of the play Lorin wants to learn more about I.T and has more time on his hands even so that he asks Devin if he wants to grab a drink sometime....
