EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Nyummy Bakery is a one the only bakery in the university that offers the right price for student life. This bakery focused on bakeries that produce innovative, traditional bakery products because the recipes used are hereditary and healthy recipes as well as using premium ingredients. The company aims to achieve a superior position in the retail bread industry channel based on the concept student handmade and fresh for oven and brand specificity in the targeted market. Our bakery shop offers a wide range of exciting products. Some of our top products are breads, chocolate chip cookies and cakes. Products with a delicious taste that makes customers place orders many times. This product is also halal and has been recognized by JAKIM. So, all students whether Muslim or not can enjoy it. Our bakery shop is located at Stall No. 26, Bangunan Pusat Persatuan Pelajar, UiTM Melaka Kampus Jasin, 77300 Merlimau, Melaka. Our products are being made with the main ingredients which are flour, butter and eggs. Thus, our products’ price is reasonable for the students of UiTM Jasin to buy. Next, we have assembled a strong management team. This team is led by Aliah Nasuhah who has a small business experience at home and her products have become the talk of the town. Then, we have Nurul Fatin Atiqah as an administration manager, Nur Aqilah as marketing manager, Nur Afira Sofea as an operational manager and Siti Nur Shahida as financial manager. In addition, the employees hired are all have their experience in accordance with the position set within the company.

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Nyummy Bakery is a bakery shop where we sell various types of cakes and pastries. We named our bakery shop because all of our unique taste of cakes and pastries, that when people eat our freshly made bake cakes or pastries they will say nyummy instead of delicious. All of our products are homemade where we bake them by ourselves and freshly serve for our beloved customers. Not just homemade, our recipes are also unique where our manager creates it by herself for the satisfaction of our customers. Our products are being made from flour, eggs and butters. Besides that, our bakery shop has halal certificated from JAKIM where our products are free from animals and others harm ingredients. We will make sure our bakery shop is clean from any dirt and messiness. So, our beloved customers will feel comfortable when entering the shop. Our bakery shop is located in UiTM Jasin where the students can easily find cakes and pastries at our bakery shop so that they do not have to go out from the university. Not just students, lecturers, other workers and also people who lives around this university also can buy our products. Because most of our customers are student, so we put an affordable price for our products so that they can get delicious cakes or pastries with cheap price. We will keep launching new menus, so that our beloved customers can experience new taste of cakes and pastries that satisfied their taste.

1.1 PURPOSE OF BUSINESS PLAN

The purpose of this business plan is as the first step as a module before starting a business. This business plan is very important for a new company like Nyummy Bakery because it may help us to maintain our business longer in the Malaysia market.

The purposes of doing this business plan are as below:  To show the financial strength of the company, especially when applying for loans and to

convince the investors towards providing funds or other financial institution.  To fulfil one of the terms and condition that stated in ENT 300 project.  As a guideline for us in setting, planning, managing, handling and controlling our business

for the day to day management, budget, financial forecast, strategies, target market and even long term goals.  It is also prepared to state clearly the information on the certain authorities’ parties to get

permits or other facilities in the mean of formation of a business.  This business plan can be utilized to convince the suppliers the ability of paying back on

credit and the ability to carry out a project of services for customers or the tender board.  To improve any weaknesses arise by comparing the actual performance of the firm with

its master plan. It is to see whether it is a favourable or unfavourable situation.

2.0 MARKETING PLAN

2.1 INTRODUCTION TO MARKETING PLAN

Nyummy Bakery is a newly registered business in the food industry. Our bakery shop implies the societal orientation which focuses on satisfying customers’ needs and wants while improving individual and societal well-being. We proudly present our freshly made products such as cakes, breads and cookies to give the satisfaction to our beloved customers. Other than that, we focuses on achieving sales and the profits of our products selling from each months.

2.2 PRODUCTS DESCRIPTION

Our bakery is focused on the taste of the young generations where they love delicious foods at the reasonable price. So, we produce the products that can fulfill their taste bud at lower price. Firstly, our bakery has variety types of cakes and pastries such as mini cakes, white breads and cookies. All of our products are extremely delicious because we use pure butter to get the unique flavor in every bites. The special of our bakery is we sell budget cake where the students can get the cake at RM1 per slice with different flavor. We also accept order for any occasion and the order must be made a week before the event. Then, most of our products are being made from flour, butter and eggs. The lifespan of our pastries is about 5-7 days depends on the environment.
