Description

Ex 11 pg 73-74: 3-21 3) The children of Israel were in the Sinai Desert and there was no water for the sheep that were with them. 4) The sons of Jacob said to Joseph, “We have an old father in the land of Canaan,” and they did not know that he was ruling over all of Egypt. 5) Solomon took the daughter of Pharaoh as a wife for himself. 6) The men of the place said, “We know Laban and behold, Rachel his daughter with her father’s sheep.” 7) Jacob asked Rachel, “Whose daughter are you?” Rachel said, “I am the daughter of Laban.” 8) Jacob served Laban for Rachel, but he gave him his eldest daughter for a wife instead of Rachel. 9) You are our God and we are Your people, You are our Father and we are your children. 10) Pharaoh called to all his elders and to all his wise men, and before their eyes Moses did according to all that the Lord said. 11) These are the names of the children of Israel who went down towards Egypt unto Joseph. 12) Jacob did not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan, because they were very evil in the eyes of his father. 13) Why did you not say to me that she is your wife? (and) I did not know. 14) Laban said to Jacob, “Your wives are my daughters, and your sons are my sons, and your sheep are my sheep and all that is yours is mine.” 15) The Lord said to Jacob, “Your name will be Israel.” 16) Rachel called the name of her son Joseph, because she said “I will have another son.” 17) Joseph said to Pharaoh, “Behold my father and my brothers and their wives and their sons and their daughters and their sheep and all which is theirs, have come towards Egypt.” 18) Our fathers saw all that the Lord did to Pharaoh and to Egypt. 19) I am the Lord your God, and I descended upon Mount Sinai on that great day. 20) Why did you sit in the dust, daughter of Israel? Because your sons walked after their eyes and they also served other gods. 21) And what is the Lord asking from you, O House of Jacob?...
