The author has meticulously explained us about the environmental laws, regulations and agencies that are responsible to enact these laws. All the businesses need to follow strict rules and regulations that are formed by these administrative agencies, otherwise will have to face severe penalties which can follow if these laws are not followed. And next we learned about the contracts, its importance and various elements that define the contracts such as an offer by an offeror, acceptance of that offer with necessary changes if needed by the offeree and finally the consideration from both the involved parties which is basically the value that is involved in this contract (Jennings, 2021). California introduces new laws regulating on the use of pesticides up to limited extent. This law is comparatively stricter than federal laws and it is necessary as California is one of the state’s leading in the use of pesticides mostly in farms. For any of the pesticides that are regulated by federal, it will need to meet certain conditions which needs to be fulfilled. As mentioned earlier that California is one of the leading states in usage of pesticides, it obviously needs more stricter laws than any other state to ensure the environment stays safe for the people. If these are laws are less strict than the federal laws, then it will take a long time bring the change expected for the environmental cause (Jennings, 2021). In this case, deceitful dad and son Sammy enters into a contract as dad fails to obey the promises made to son repeatedly. No matter if son Sammy is minor or not, if there is contract signed and agreed upon by both parties, it needs to be followed through and son Sammy can legally what was promised in the contract. In another case, where son Sammy pays dad $15 to take him to the store, result doesn’t change as they signed a contract together where dad needs to legally pay the son what he is owed and promised as per the contracts and now including the damages.

The elements of the contract so that the contract in discussion is legally enforceable are as follows. Firstly, offer which is first step and made by offeror where he/she is willing to get into contract with other parties provided certain conditions are mentioned clearly and agreed upon. Secondly, Acceptance where the other party receiving the offer will examining and agreeing to the terms or if any changes need to be made those needs to agree upon and accordingly contract will be signed. Thirdly, consideration which is basically the value upon which the whole contract is based and both offeror and offeree will need to provide some consideration for contract to be finalized and fulfilled. And lastly, legality which is most important step as all the above steps won’t have much importance to it unless there is some legality to this contract. It is formal contract with appropriate documentation which defines the legality of the contract, if it just a verbal agreement between the involved parties then it is not considered a formal and legal contract in court (Jennings, 2021).
