● Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, C, C++, .NET (C#, VB)) will be an add-on ● Knowledge on the latest tools and techniques in application security space would be an added advantage ● Strong verbal and written communication skills Roles & Responsibilities Help define consistent Secure Software Development Lifecycle practices for all Whatfix technology projects throughout the planning and delivery cycles that assure that application security risks are mitigate ● Improve secure coding practices, application security requirements, automation, training, and metrics ● Integrate threat modeling practices into the Software Development Lifecycle ● Collaborate with product development and solution teams proactively to manage software security risk aligned with business goals ● Collaborate with product and solution teams to achieve Cybersecurity software security program objectives ● Assist in investigation of suspected security breaches, work with subject matter experts, and recommend corrective actions ● improve Web App Firewalls (WAF), Ensure early Identification of intrusion & attacks and implement countermeasures ● Implement security measures that monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks. ● Work with cloud providers to obtain understanding of security controls, ensure controls are leveraged ● Develop innovative security controls to protect assets across a complex environment ● Administer a wide and interesting range of security platforms and systems
