Apple is the world market leader in electronic and smartphone, their market size in Australia is also gaining the biggest market share among other smartphone companies. Reverse logistics has built up the innovative and new opportunities for industries to search and acquire some systematic strategy, green sustainability, recycling, repair, remanufacturing, environment and disposal. By taking smart action to use reverse logistics in the most effective way, it allows Apple to earn myriad of benefits, such as Apple GiveBack policy helps company contributing to environmental friendly and achieve cost-cutting advantage. Moreover, Apple able to improve customer value and satisfaction through recycling and provide servicing battery for customers. It also enables company to prevent customers from flinging away the batteries which cause harmful to the environment. Additionally, reverse logistics further allows company to gain advantage from economic of scale and competitive advantage. Nonetheless, there are also some costs spending for Apple to invest in reverse logistics. Initially, Apple has to deal with returned commercial products, which are the products that returned by customers due to defective items or products don't meet customer satisfaction. This action comprising with high costs involvement as it requires Apple Inc. to go through some progress of cleaning, repairing, disassembling, testing and so on. In order to manage with this difficulty, there must be the implanting from company to take action of hiring expert service provider and divide their reverse logistics function and using forward supply chain to help. The take-back policy got high rate of return on commercial products from customer, which it is clearly a risk and impact to the increasing in cost of return to the average 2-3 times to original model....
