INSTALLATION: 1. Download the SmartRekt zip file from ukramedia.com/SmartRekt and unzip it. 2. Copy & Paste “smartREKT 3.2.jsxbin” and “smartREKT_3.2_assets” folder into ScriptUI Panels folder, usually located here: WINDOWS: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects \Support Files\Scripts\ScriptUI Panels MAC: /Applications/Adobe After Effects /Scripts/ScriptUI Panels. IMPORTANT: It’s absolutely crucial to move “smartREKT 3.2.jsxbin” file & “smartREKT_3.2_assets” folder together into the ScriptUI Panels folder described above. SmartRekt will not work properly without the assets folder living in the same place as the script file.

3. SmartRekt requires access to write files and After Effects has that feature disabled by default. It is very important that you go to the “Scripting & Expressions” panel of the application preferences and make sure “Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network” is checked. 4. Restart After Effects. 5. Load SmartRekt by going to Application Top Menu Bar /Window and select “smartREKT 3.2.jsxbin” to bring up the script’s dockable interface.
