They could improve their performance of microwave oven sales in India are the comments from some of the consumers. Some say its performance surprised them, the fact that men have no excuse for not helping their partners cook, they say it’s becoming as essential as a fridge and that its beginning to replace the demand for a second TV. 2) If you the VP of marketing responsible for developing a marketing plan to improve the performance of White Appliances' line of microwave ovens in India, what strategies would you use to address this task? The strategies I would use to address this task would be research, learn more about their culture, their eating habits, their recipes and adapt all those habits to the product so that it can be suitable/easy for them when cooking. 3) How would you adjust / adapt your controllable elements to reduce the impact of the uncontrollable elements you may encounter? I would focus on the marketing mix and adjust the research, learn more about the Indian food, adapt that culture to the product so that they can use it and the price, make it affordable based on the household’s income....
