This developed formal crime control agencies President Hoover (1931) appointed the National Commission or Law Observance and Enforcement President Johnson (1967) appointed the Law Enforcement and Administration of Justice The Criminal Justice System is a form of social control where society considers behaviors, tools or acts dangerous or destructive, these lead into controlling theses behaviors by stating how often it can happen, where it can happen or if it can even happen at all. Society has other ways of maintaining social order, for example, institutions having informal order which is there for moral reasons (school, home, work etc). But only agencies have the authority to formally punish someone for breaking the law Justice system is so expensive to run since there are a lot of employees, casualties, correctional facilities, so it can properly process and treat everyone who goes through the system formally. The crime rate has been at a decline during the past decade, but the justice system continues to grow and yet correctional populations increase as well....
