IELTS Holiday Vocabulary Part 1-style questions Examiner1: What kind of holiday do you like? Or Do you like traveling? I'm not really a traveler, to be honest. I actually try my best to avoid the tourist traps during holidays. Too many people in one place makes me feel so suffocating, you know. Suffocating : nghẹt thở tourist trap: somewhere where too many tourists go Examiner2: What do you like to do when you’re on holiday? Like I've just said to you, I prefer being indoors, so when on vacation, the first thing that pops up in my mind is relaxing in my room all the time, ordering food and reading some interesting comics. Examiner3: Do you have many tourists in your country? Absolutely yes. My country has several attractive destinations in many cities. For example, my hometown - Do Son beach has been known for its spectacular beaches and cultural activities that are interesting for both tourists and local citizens. spectacular beaches: bãi biển đẹp Examiner4: Do you like holidays? Why/ Why not? I can't think of a reason not to like holidays because they are great opportunities for me to wind down, recharge my batteries, get together with my family or hang out with friends.

Examiner5: Do you prefer to travel or stay at home during holiday periods? Why? Well, it depends on the length of the holiday and the financial conditions. Normally, I prefer to be a homegirl and enjoy watching my favorite anime or reading comic books.

Examiner6: When do you prefer to take your holidays? Why? That's a good question. In fact, it really doesn't matter. Like I have said, I’m a homegirl. As long as I have a holiday, I would definitely enjoy my staying at home.

Examiner7: What do most people do during their holidays in your country? Why? The majority of people who don't afford to travel would return to their hometown as they can spend time getting together with their family. Besides, some people with a high standard of living incline towards travel....
