In a conventional distribution channel all the different parties in the channel are completely independent and only care about maximizing their own profit, sometimes at the expense of the system as a whole. So there is an entire goddamn section on the types of distribution channels and their characteristics in the book and asset summary, but I cant be arsed to type it over so here’s the slide on what you need to know:
