Aged care is for nursing care and daily living services provided to the elders in Australia who need some help at home. The reasons can include disability, illness, no longer be able to manage without help, and no longer live independently.

Mostly the average age need age cared service is people who are over 65 years old, based on Australian Bureau Statistic, there is nearly 16 percent of 65 years old people in 2018 in Australia. In terms of gender, because of females normally have longer life expectancies than males, so they usually need age cared than males.

Nowadays, there are several types of care, but 3 types of most popular care are "Help at home", "Short-term care" and "Aged care homes". Help at home means asking for help in your own home, a little support such as receiving personal care to bath, dress, shopping, and cooking or even get in or out of bed. The older can still live in their own home without going anywhere as long as possible. For Short-term care, this service support care for a set period of time, many different types of Short-term care are depending on your required, but in general, the aim is to help your daily task and maintain your independence. The aged care home provides accommodation, daily meals, social activities, and also personal care such as bathing, eating, help with taking medications and carrying out health treatments.

Most of the funding to support aged care comes from the government, they fund a range of aged care homes around Australia so that they can provide care and support services to people who need it.

In 2017 and 2018 the government spend most of the funding for residential, one quarter for home care and support, and around 6 percent for other services

There are many issues in the aged care service, it can be the lack of skilled staff, long term financial stability, consultation, and communication or the popular issue is personal and oral hygiene.

In the 21st century, technology becomes develope rapidly in many fields, people create many different types of electronic devices to support human with a variety of tasks.

Assistive technology is a term of devices that support people with disabilities to interact with the outside world. It can increase the function such as a persons' eyes, ears or voice.

A lot of unlucky circumstances like the infant born with a disability of deaf, there are a wide range of devices to support this kind of disease, for enhancing the sound, devices such as FM systems, Infrared and Audio Induction Loop systems or Coupling accessories are the useful device for most the case who want to listen louder. The same for conveying Information Visually, there still have many devices to help them.

Another very common problem is the eye's function, people who were born with the disability of blind or may be caused by an accident that leads to unclear when watching anything. However, technology these days can surmount this problem. A huge company name Apple had introduced a free screen reader called Voiceover, mobile phone is very useful unless people can not see to use it, Apple

makes it possible for blind people to use there other function which is the voice, using voice to command the phone to do what the blind want is helping them more tasks by artificial intelligence is implemented into the devices.

Everyone knows the wheelchair, but the traditional wheelchair has it own inconvenient, combine it with technology, engineer around the world is working to make the wheelchair can be able to go onto many different roads and some of the breakthroughs that allow the wheelchair can go on the stair, and for no long from now, people without limb will be able to use a wheelchair or another similar device to move, which they can command using voice, or maybe only by thinking.
