The Dow Chemical is a worldwide company which provides manufactures in plastic, chemicals, building construction and solutions to industrial and consumers. Its diamond logo represents four of its core values which are innovative, customer-centric, inclusive and sustainable respectively. They also value the teamwork a lot with a teamoriented cultures and focuses on the family. Workers learn quickly with a high performance culture that travels a lot, coaching young engineers, taking roles in Dow and get succeed. The Dow Chemical focuses on the wellbeing of the workers as well that they provide work life services and stress managements to help the workers to keep healthy both physically and mentally to get engaged in the workplace. Last but not least, every people in Dow Chemical has a unique background that they embrace and value the diversity there.

Next, the presenter introduces their new student programs which includes coop and internship programs and gives us some advice on how to make a good CV by 11 steps such as networking and building up your soft skills and they also advises us to attend organizational meetings, externships, utilize the career fair here in TAMU and get some interpersonal skills, which are very beneficial to me. As an Engineering student majoring in Industrial and System Engineering, I’m glad that I can have the chance to join their
