Stakeholders- According to Nilson and Fagerström (2006), Internal Stakeholders are those in the management, marketing experts, designers, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly and sales, while External Stakeholders are the users/customers, distributors, governments, suppliers, communities, laws and regulations. (Karim, et al., 2007, pp.8). (Internal Stakeholders | Who are Internal Stakeholders? n.d.) On the other hand one who interacts directly with the system is called operational stakeholder. Whereas, one who do not deal directly with the business but have some financial interest or use the information produced by the system is known as executive stakeholder.

Admin Staff As an Admin Staff member working for Artists R Us, I want to make sure that the data is preserved properly and try not to face any problem while communicating to costumers or transferring funds.

As an Admin Staff member working at Artists R Us, I want a quick as well as reliable customer information system, so that we can carry our tasks more efficiently and make more rational decisions.

Artists R Us’s Director As the Director of Artists R Us, I want to store data more effectively in favour of costumers along-with the team members making their lives easy by developing or adapting new methods.

As the Director of Artists R Us, I want to keep a track on regular customers and make sure they gets good service by fulfilling their needs all for the benefit of art gallery and lives associated with it.

As the Director of Artists R Us, I want to increasing my knowledge about ongoing trends outside the art gallery in-order to keep gallery up to the date for attracting more customers.

Artists As an artist showcasing my work at Artists R Us, I want an easy to use customer information system, so that I will have a better idea of who my target audience is and then will try to attract them as much as I can through my art.

As an artist showcasing my work at Artists R Us, I want to explore my skills more and try to create a masterpiece so that I can help gallery by collecting more revenue.

Customers As a customer at Artists R Us, I want to feel secured about my privacy and not getting it leaked and be confidential by the art gallery just to not take any chances of being blackmailed by someone tomorrow.

As a customer at Artists R Us , I want products to at least satisfy my needs as customer and desire of having a look of modern art/trend along with older.

Donators As an donator donating to Artists R Us, I want to have a clear objective of the art gallery. Making sure that my money is after something good and are in right hands, by first knowing about the companies background and its trustworthiness.

Students at School of Information Technology and Mathematical Sciences, UniSA As a student projecting customer information system, I want the system exactly to be as asked by the clients just so that I can feel their satisfaction because that’s all what matters to me at last. As a project student developing the customer information system, I want the system to be client friendly and to last long in the market so that my clients thank me later in future and not getting it replaced.

Local Council As the Artists R Us is operated by local council, I want to try and promote the art gallery as much as I can and make it popular in whole area to get more funding for gallery.

As the Artists R Us is operated by local council, I want to avoid additional expenses that goes for the manual process of storing customer information, as a result more resources can be utilised in expanding the organisation.

Answer 3:Closed-ended questions: I. II. III. IV. V. VI.

At this point of time after installing new information system can gallery afford to buy masterpieces from external artists? Will it be possible to transfer data from manual way to new information system? Would it be appropriate to upgrade suddenly from old way of storing data manually to new information system? Would it be easier for employees to adapt this new way of storing data? Will the new information system be capable of storing enough data of art gallery? Is the new information system secured enough to keep the personal details of the customers confidential?

Opinion questions:

Questions How well did the UniSA students worked on clients expectations? System is very user friendly? Would prefer storing data manually rather than new information system? It is very well structured, regulated and reliable system to use? How well is the new information system in terms of data loss and privacy?

DOCUMENTING WORKFLOWS WITH ACTIVITY DIAGRAMS Answer 4:Here the comparison shown is between Umlet and Draw.io UMLet has a simple interface that uses text formatting codes to modify the basic shapes with decorations and annotations, so there is no forest of icons or parameter list dialogs in the user’s way .We can draw UML diagrams fast, build sequence and activity diagrams from plain text, export diagrams to eps, pdf, jpg, svg, and clipboard, share diagrams using Eclipse, and create new, custom UML elements (UMLet - Free UML Tools for fast UML diagrams n.d.) Draw.io is the technology for building diagramming software. It is an open source stack and end user application used more widely than any other browser based diagramming software(Draw.io 2019).

Similarities:❖ Both Umlet and Draw.io have simple user interface and are open sources as well. ❖ Don’t come with any reverse engineering benefit(s). After looking at the features and understanding both the tools effectively. I will like to prefer Umlet over Draw.io for creating UML diagrams and using UML language. Though it may lack some features from Draw.io but it has some additional strengths such as sharing diagrams using eclipse, creating new custom elements and many others that should overcome this problem. Umlet Able to create simple good looking class (any) diagram from scratch. Good tooling capabilities like: layouts, zooming and so on.

Draw.io Has facility to create simple good looking diagrams manually. Is easy to use and also has tooling capabilities.

Exceptionally easy creating new diagrams. i.e. Just drag anddrop or double click to choose any existing palette(s).

Contains exporting options and can save diagrams in XML which allows future editing as well.

Laying out diagram manually is possible.

Not much learning curve.
