Exploring the CPU Introduction Staying on top of the many developments in CPU technology can be challenging. You can’t plug any old CPU into your motherboard and expect it to work - you have to have the right CPU to the right motherboard. You need to be able to identify important CPU characteristics such as socket type, clock speed, bus speed, as well as voltage settings, click multiplier configurations and cooling requirements.

Objectives In this project/lab the student will: ● Identify and research CPU specifications

Equipment ● Computer with Internet Access

Procedure

1. Do a little research on the Internet and find the CPU features on each of the processors below. 2. Recreate the table on a Word doc, complete the table and answer the questions.
