In this article, Liedgren is very informative about minorities and their various values at school. Liedgren speaks, in great detail, about the expectation’s children are expected to live up to, based on the societies beliefs that are taught by the bible. Liedgren uses a qualitative method for her case study. She is really smart and considerate.

This article gives a lot of information and insight on how children are taught and how they are viewed different based off of their socioeconomic status. This article is honest, interesting, and educational. This article is a great candidate for students learning about different cultures.

This article provides light on the human rights and how the Jehovah Witnesses goes about it. The article talks about the blood transfusions and the refusal of treatments.

This article is easy to read and very straightforward. Robert’s put this article together in a way that is easy for the reader and easy to understand and comprehend. Robert is well educated on this matter and is able to go into great detail without losing his focus. This article is well organized and helpful to those interested in reading and learning more about the Jehovah Witness’ culture and how the refusal of medical treatment works on children.

This article is well written and should be read by instructors that are able to inform their classes on this information. I think this is very important for nurses to know in case they ever come into contact with children that are from the Jehovah Witness culture.

The two authors bring together a great article on cases in pregnancy where the patients have hemolytic anemia and refuse blood transfusions, due to their own beliefs related to the Jehovah Witness culture. The authors are honest in their work and you can vividly see what they talk about. The authors gave a lot of information about the risks on these pregnancies.

In this article, the readers can understand the consequences of refusing blood transfusions in these difficult times when it could be a life or death situation. The authors allow the reader to comprehend the difficulties between going through with your beliefs or going through with the doctors wishes to keep the patient and the baby as healthy as possible. The authors don’t add any of their own beliefs, but definitely include the factual concerns from a healthcare’s perspective.
